NEW ROAD was hired in September 2019 as the Construction Manager for Kingsway High School’s track and stadium expansion project. The project scope included: expansion of the visitor side bleachers; replacement of natural turf field with synthetic turf field (lined for multiple sport use); construction of an 8 lane running track; new field event facilities (high jump; long jump/triple jump; pole vault; discus; shotput; javelin); new scoreboard; new fencing; new patio area; associated storm water management measures. Construction began in September 2019, and was completed in the spring of 2020. The district was able to use contingent funds from the project to expand the scope to include stadium lighting and speakers, replacement of existing stadium fencing and construction of a patio area. Work on these additional projects was completed in time for the stadium to be utilized for Kingsway’s fall sports season.
