NEW ROAD joined the Deptford Township BOE and area officials in a ground-breaking ceremony Wednesday March 24, 2021 for the Middle School Expansion Project. Work will include renovations and additions to the Middle School (including a 16-classroom addition which will add 6th Grade students to the Middle School, new Board of Education offices, HVAC and window upgrades throughout the building and various other additions and renovations) which will be complete by September 2022. This phase also includes renovations to the High School science rooms which are scheduled for construction this summer.
The Deptford Township Board of Education awarded a $25 million contract for construction at its middle school and high school to Ogren Construction. The project, designed by Garrison Architects will be managed by NEW ROAD Construction Management of Cherry Hill, NJ.
